On Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., Henry County plans to perform important work on its landline telephone system that will affect calls to County offices. Outages are expected for two to three hours on all telephone lines to the Administration Building, School Board Office, Sheriff’s Office, Public Safety, Public Service Authority, Courts, and non-emergency lines to the Communications Center. Emergency 9-1-1 lines will NOT be impacted by this outage.
Callers that are experiencing difficulty in reaching one of these facilities by phone are encouraged to call back on the following day. If it is an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Voicemail will also be affected by this scheduled outage and callers will not be able to leave messages. Thank you for your patience as the County transitions its telephones to a more cost efficient system.
