The Henry County Sheriff's Office is an equal opportunity employer.
The minimum qualifications for employment are as follows:
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor
- Must pass written, aptitude, psychological test and a physical agility test
- Must participate in an oral interview
- Must pass a thorough medical examination
- Must pass an intensive background investigation.
Law enforcement experience, college degrees and military experience are desirable but not required.
