Director of Maintenance
Henry County is seeking a Director of Maintenance to plan, direct, participate and supervise the maintenance and repair for all buildings and grounds including painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and electrical work. Individual will also be responsible for the direction and supervision of custodial staff. Associated degree in a related field with 3 to 5 years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education, experience and supervision. Comprehensive Services Coordinator
Henry County is seeking an individual to coordinate and monitor mandatory services provided to at-risk youth and families in Henry County, Patrick County and the City of Martinsville under the Comprehensive Services Act. Knowledge of human services management and current social, economic, and health challenges and resources available to children and families with special needs. Ability to prepare budgets and monitor expenses. Knowledge of Comprehensive Services Act services and programs. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in social work, public health, or related field; three to five years experience and/or training in human services or social work; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Meter Reading Technician
The Public Service Authority is seeking an individual to fill the position of Meter Reading Technician. This individual will be responsible for obtaining accurate monthly meter readings to ensure proper monthly billing of customer accounts. Qualified applicants must have strong customer service and human relations skills. High school diploma or GED and current Virginia driver's license required. Starting pay is $13.12 per hour. Henry County is seeking a part-time Collection Clerk for the Treasurer’s Office. Responsible for collection and receipting of taxes, licenses, fees, and other revenues. Individual must have strong cash handling and customer service skills and be proficient in various computer applications.
