Crazy Careers in Science

In this program kids will get to see the benefits of studying science and the many opportunities they have after completing high school.  Participants will do scientific explorations to see which field they enjoy most and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Virginia Museum of Natural History's Labs.  Contact parks and recreation at 634.4645 for more information.  This program is open to children ages 12 - 14.

Combination Exercise Class

This class (eight sessions) will include elements of belly dance, yoga and Pilates for a fun workout that will help you become more flexible and improve muscle tone.  This class will end with a short discussion on healthy foods, free recipes and a snack will be provided.  Contact parks and recreation at 634.4643 for more information.
