Henry County Parks & Recreation and the 4-H Family Nutrition Program are excited to offer you, "It's Cool to Cook". This camp will be completely hands-on through interactive teaching, food explorations, cooking projects and a focus of kitchen safety and cleanliness. This camp is an excellent choice for children that have had limited exposure to the game of tennis. They will learn the rules of tennis and the fundamental skills including: serves, ground strokes and volleys. Registration is required and a camp t-shirt is included. Sportlanes and HCPR is hosting a class designed to teach individual 50 years of age and older the fundamentals of bowling. You can learn the basics of bowling in just a few short weeks. This class will teach you how to properly hold the bowling ball, how to roll the ball, proper stance and how to use the computerized scoring. This class meets on Thursdays for five weeks. The Bridge Club is open to all adults age 50 and above. Bridge is designed to be a fun and socially interactive way for seniors to enjoy playing cards.
