Trip to Savannah, GA

Join our senior travel club as we take an exciting trip to Savannah, GA.  This trips includes admission to the Savannah Theatre, time at the Riverfront, a tour of Savannah, time at Tybee Island, two dinners and a movie tour of Savannah.  Contact parks and recreation at 634.4644 for more information.

Knitting Class

A Beginning and Advanced Knitting class will be offered once a week for six weeks at the Martinsville Library.  You will learn basic and/or advanced knitting techniques.  Pre-registration is required and you may contact parks and recreation at 634-4643 for more information.

Fundamentals of Bowling

Sportlanes and Henry County Parks and Recreation will be hosting a class designed to teach individuals fifty years of age and older the fundamentals of bowling.  You can learn the basics of bowling in just a few short weeks.  All levels of experience are welcome.  Contact parks and recreation at 634-4644 for more information.

Crochet Group

Join us each Thursday for our crochet group.  This program is open to anyone 50 years of age and older and you can be a beginner or experienced.  This is a free program but you will need to bring you own supplies.  Contact parks and recreation at 634-4643 for more information.
