Emergency Preparedness
Every citizen has a role to play in disaster preparedness, response and recovery. The first steps are to make sure you have a plan in place to care for yourself and your family and that you have the necessary supplies on hand to do so. But there are many other ways to make a difference during a disaster. These include volunteering, donating blood, learning a life-saving skill and encouraging your extended family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to join you in becoming READY.
