Enterprise Zones

The Enterprise Zone Program is a Commonwealth of Virginia economic development program managed by the Department of Housing and Community Development. The State's Enterprise Zone Program is designed to provide incentives for businesses to locate or expand in designated zone areas. The City of Martinsville and Henry County have two joint zone designations consisting of 7,055.16+ acres of commercial, retail, office, and industrial properties. The Enterprise Zone layer is available on the County's GIS website by selecting the [+] zones layer, then [+] enterprise zones.

If your business or industry has completed or is contemplating some upgrades, renovations, or expansions don't forget to check to see if you are eligible for State and/or Local Enterprise Zone incentives.
