Youth Bowling

Any bowler under the age of 18 will receive 6 additional weeks free after bowling for 6 consecutive weeks at Sportlanes. This will begin on Sept. 1st and end on Dec. 31st. 

Golfing Opportunities for Kids

Kids can enjoy the game of golf in several different ways this fall. Anytime from September-November, children under age 13 play for free with a paying adult at the Horsepasture National Par 3. They can also play at the Beaver Hills Golf Club and Forest Park Country Club.

Lunch Club for Seniors

The Lunch Club is open to all adults ages 50 and over. Please meet at Hugo's on East Church Street in Martinsville.

Men's Flag Football League

Men's Flag Football League will begin on Sept. 13th. The registration deadline is Sept. 4th.

AARP Driver Safety Program

This class will be taught over a 2 day period and it is specifically designed for adults ages 50 and above. This will be held in the Administration Building in room #2. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.

This event is for men and women ages 50 and above. It will be held at the Beaver Hills Golf Club.

The Health Care Screenings & Information is for adults ages 50 and above. It will be held in the Henry County Administration Building from 9:00-11:00am. This is a free event.

Adult Kayaking Day

Adult Kayaking Day will be held at the South Martinsville Canoe Access. Kayaks will be available to use.
