Compliments / Complaints

The Henry County Sheriff's Office image and reputation depend on the personal integrity and discipline of all Sheriff's Office employees. To a large degree, the public image of the Henry County Sheriff's Office is determined by how we treat the citizens we serve and how we respond to allegations of misconduct against our employees. The Henry County Sheriff's Office must competently and impartially investigate all allegations and complaints bearing on the Sheriff's Office response to community needs. The Sheriff's Office recognizes that its personnel are often subject to intense pressures in the discharge of their duties and must remain neutral under circumstances that are likely to generate tension, excitement, and emotion. In these situations, actions and events frequently result in misunderstanding and confusion. The Henry County Sheriff's Office has a procedure for receiving compliments and a procedure for the investigation of complaints. We welcome all information that can help us in our daily operations, both good and bad.
