The Department of Planning, Zoning and Inspection is responsible for regulating, permitting and inspecting all aspects of development in Henry County.

Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety coordinates all emergency services in Henry County. Department personnel includes administration personnel who direct and coordinate the efforts to the department and work to keep the department and community in a state of readiness in the event a disaster were to strike.

The Public Service Authority provides water and sewer services to many residents, businesses, industries, and schools in Henry County.
