Chris Lawless

Chris Lawless joined the Board of Supervisors on January 1, 2026, with his current term expiring December 31, 2029. 

Mr. Lawless is the founder and owner of Lawless Welding & Fabrications, Inc., which he established in 2016. Under his leadership, the business has grown from two employees to a workforce of approximately 30. The company recently purchased property on Stultz Road with plans to redevelop the site into the “Lawless Campus,” a project focused on revitalization and expanded service capacity for the community.

Mr. Lawless is deeply involved in local charitable efforts. He has supported the Warming Shelter, local food pantries, Boy Scouts programs, and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. 

Mr. Lawless holds an associate degree in industrial electronics and is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). He also maintains multiple welding-related certifications aligned with his professional work.

He and his wife, Brandy, have two children.
