What is the difference between a resolution and a proclamation?
Proclamations are for the purpose of honoring a day, week, or month. Proclamations are subject to adoption by the Board of Supervisors but may also be issued by the Chairman.
Resolutions are for the purpose of honoring a person or an organization or to demonstrate the Board's position on a particular issue. Resolutions are subject to adoption by the Board of Supervisors.
How do I request a resolution or proclamation?
